PhD position on quantifying Methane emissions from on-shore natural gas extraction

The Climate KIC has awarded a PhD position to develop new measurement approaches based upon atmospheric concentration measurements, for quantifying fugitive emissions of methane from on-shore natural gas extraction sites. The project is focused on research innovation and its practical application to business, and is a joint appointment between Laboratoire des Sciences du Climate et de l’Environnement, Gif-Sur-Yvette (LSCE Paris, France) and the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington (NPL London, United Kingdom).
