We are recruiting for the position of

Postdoc on Arundo donax metabolic engineering for improved biomass production

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent researcher to carry out a project aiming at:

  • the development of genetic and genomic resources for this non model species by next generation sequencing;
  • the characterization of selected biosynthetic pathways for isoprenoids production;
  • the manipulation of Arundo donax volatile organic compound emissions;
  • the characterization of photosynthetic performance, secondary metabolism and stress tolerance.
